Overview: Our Business English course aims to give students an understanding of the fundamental areas of contemporary business and is designed for upper-intermediate and advanced level students of English. No prior knowledge of business studies is required. Key concepts in business and economics are covered using a variety of reading, speaking, listening and writing activities based on a wide range of materials including current financial newspapers, magazines, radio and television programmes and the Internet. Management, production, marketing, finance and macroeconomics are just a few of the topics dealt with in class. Classroom discussions and selected reading and writing assignments as well as grammar and vocabulary practice form the basis of our method, helping students to communicate confidently in an English speaking business environment.
