Advanced Diploma in Information Technology

Overview:

Information systems have become essential for creating competitive firms, managing global corporations, and providing useful products and services to customers. Globalisation of trade, the emergence of information economies and the growth of the Internet and other global networks have recast the role of Information systems. The course is designed to teach students with the necessary knowledge and skills to actively learn and to engage in problem solving using Information technology tools.  

Course Structure:
The course includes:
 1. New CLAIT - The Oxford Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts (OCR) qualification NVQ1,
 2. CLAIT Plus - The Oxford Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts (OCR) qualification NVQ2, and one of the following
 3. Diploma in Web design or
 4. Networking - Cisco Certification (CCNA) or
 5. System Administration - Microsoft Certified System Administrator (Engineer)

Pre-requisites:
  CLAIT Plus - applies for those who choose the one year path with relevant qualification,
  No pre-requisite applies to any one who choose for the two year path.

Duration:
  2 Years for full programme, or 1 Year with previous IT qualification.
