Diploma in Multimedia Tools and Application

Overview:

The aim of this course is to teach the features of multimedia tools such as flash and Photoshop to create dynamic web site. In addition students will learn designing web sites with the aim of web development software such as dream weaver, FrontPage and Photoshop.

Course Structure:
This course uses a mix of media tools as shown below,

• Dreamweaver:  Introduction to Dramweaver, Features of Dreamweaver, Site planning, Text formatting, Hyperlinks, Web images, Tables, Frames, Forms and Controls, JavaScripts, Stylesheets, Behaviour and other topics.
  

• Web animation with Flash/Director, The timeline, inserting frames, Key frames, Creating motion twins, creating animation, creating buttons, working with Object behaviours, Embedding animations within web pages.
  

• Photoshop level 1: Introduction to photoshop, creating images and publishing with different formats, buttons, frames, pictures, image manipulation, shading images, image transformation, Styles and sizes.
  

• Photoshop level 2: Advanced techniques to understand creative learning environment. Creating web graphics with Paint Shop Pro and designing web pages using multimedia tools.
   

Pre-requisites:

Applicants must have obtained one of the following:

• OCR level 2 in IT or equivalent
• Good knowledge of web page creation

Duration:

9 months each part

Qualification gain:

Diploma in Business Administration awarded by ABE
